Welcome

OSI Fencing is an epée only fencing club which mainly comprises of students from the University of Oslo. However, we are of course open to swashbucklers and musketeers of all kinds.

If you have previous fencing experence, you will problably find our practices suitably challenging, as our fencers range from quite fresh beginners to somewhat advanced duellists.

We provide regular courses for members at all levels, a great atmosphere and ample social activities. Our club also runs a regular tournament tradition, The Tycho Brahe Cup, which takes place every Friday.

If you haven't fenced before, you are obliged to take our beginner's course, which takes place on Mondays and lasts one semester. This course, led by Guy, gives beginners a thorough introduction to the art of fencing.

Every Monday, we meet after practice in Blindern pub to drink beer, socialize and brag about our fencing exploits.
